The Township of Maplewood is requesting proposals from social services agencies to develop and conduct a homelessness street outreach and engagement program in the Township. The program will include in-person and in the field services to directly assist households with preventing and/or exiting from homelessness. Program services include case management, engagement, low-barrier prevention services, transportation to shelter and services, and referrals to resources. Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked “RFP – Suburban Homelessness Street Outreach & Engagement Program” and bear the name and address of the proposer on the outside of the envelope to Elizabeth J. Fritzen, Township Clerk, at the Township of Maplewood’s Clerk’s Office located at 574 Valley Maplewood, NJ 07040 no later than 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at which time all proposals will be opened. One original and one copy of the proposal will be required. In addition, one electronic copy of the proposal shall be submitted on a USB drive.
