Property Maintenance

Property maintenance regulations are found in Chapter 203 of the Township's Code . One of the primary goals is to improve and maintain Quality of Life for the residents and visitors of the Township by ensuring the Property Maintenance Regulations are enforced. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Enforce the Township's Property Maintenance Regulations
  • Register all Vacant or Abandoned properties
  • Issue violations to property owners for failure to maintain their property
  • Conduct required inspections for enforcement
  • Investigate property maintenance complaints

Common Code Violations 

  • Deterioration and condition of structures
  • Fences installed without permits
  • Inoperable or unregistered vehicles
  • Overgrown grass and weeds
  • Signs on public property in Right-of-ways
  • Trash, debris and rubbish on property
