Winter Recreation Basketball 

Open to Grades 2-8

Recreation Basketball for beginners! If your child has an interest in basketball, this is the program for them. Players will be taught the basic skills and fundamentals of the game. Coaches will use various drills, contests and gameplay situations to teach your little baller the right way to play!. This is a co-ed program for Maplewood & South Orange residents. Travel Basketball 

This is a competitive team that will play games locally against other travel teams. Players should have an advanced knowledge of the game be able to perform basic drills. Group Tennis Lessons

Maplewood Recreation offers seasonal tennis lessons for all skill levels! Email tennisprogram@maplewoodnj.gov for any inquiries. New classes to begin in the Spring!

US Sports Institute

Camps and classes for children aged 2-11.

Year round programming.

Sports Include Soccer, Multi Sports, and T-ball.

Cougar Wrestling

The Cougar Wrestling program is affiliated with the Maplewood Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs. This program is for boys and girls in grades 2-8.
