Instructions

1. Fill in your address, and under "Application Type," select new, even if you applied for a permit or pass in previous years.
   1. If your address doesn't appear, likely what it is on the tax map doesn't match your mailing address, and you should choose "Non Resident or Address Not Found."
   2. If you are getting a merchant pass, please put in your business address
2. Read over the "Instructions & Ordinances" to read the descriptions of each parking permit or pass and Township regulations.
3. In "Applicant Information," you'll enter the information requested, such as your name, address, phone number, and e-mail. 
4. "Requested Pass Information" is where you'll put in the type of pass you are requesting, your vehicle information, and how many passes. 
   1. You must click "Add Information on Pass/Permit User" to add permit/pass users.
   2. Currently, you can only apply for one pass at a time, so if you are looking for a Combo (Commuter/Jitney) and an additional Jitney Pass, you must make two separate applications.
5. Lastly, in "Attachments, Fees & Certification," you will upload proof of residency, see the cost for your permit(s)/passes, and certify that you understand the rules and regulations.
   1. If you wish to get a hybrid/electric vehicle discount for Commuter or Combo parking, in addition to proof of residency, we need to see your vehicle registration.
   2. If you are applying in person, you can select "Yes," or if you are going to e-mail the documents to the address below or bring the documents in person within 72 hours. After 72 hours, the application will be denied if you don't present your proof of residency.
6. Once you submit, a member of the Clerk's department will review your application. Applications are reviewed during normal business hours, and payment links from admin@govpilot.com are sent out throughout the day.
   1. Please note: There is a transaction fee if you pay via debit, credit, or e-check. The Clerk's office is still accepting exact cash payments or checks made to the Township of Maplewood as a means of payment if you wish to avoid fees.
7. After payment is received, you'll receive an e-mail with your receipt and an approval letter with your unique identifier which will note you paid and for what license plate.
   1. The report for who has paid is generated at the close of business daily for parking attendants to utilize the following day. If you are issued a ticket, please present the approval letter to dispute the ticket.
   2. Those seeking Jitney Passes can e-mail the addresses below to have them mailed or pick them up during normal business hours.
